All pets must have a heart worm test done before administering ProHeart 6 and can NOT be given at the same time as vaccines.
East Montgomery County Animal Hospital has been a part of the community since 2015. We provide complete pet health care services including vaccines, dental care, internal medicine and surgery. We invite you to explore our services and meet our amazing team.
Susan Cardenas, DVM
Since receiving her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2001, Dr. Cardenas has worked in small animal medicine, from day practice to emergency care.
She has a special interest in internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She loves veterinary medicine and is now bringing that love of medicine here to you. She is dedicated to making sure all of your pets’ concerns are addressed in a gentle, respectful manner. When possible, Dr. Cardenas employs low stress handling and gives treats liberally, so bring your pets hungry!
Dr. Cardenas, her husband, and their three children share their home with three rescue cats and two dogs. When not caring for your pets, Dr. Cardenas enjoys reading, evenings with friends, kayaking, and spending time with her family on nature trails.
East Montgomery Animal Hospital is a full-service health care facility for small animals. We provide the best quality care in the Conroe, New Caney, Splendora, Grangerland and the surrounding areas, by going the extra mile everyday and by treating your pets as we would our own. It is that mindset that sets East Montgomery County Animal Hospital apart from the others, and is a difference you will feel when you become part of our extended family. We look forward to helping your pet enjoy a long, healthy and happy life
