Dr. Cardenas D.V.M.

    Since receiving her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2001, Dr. Cardenas has worked in small animal medicine, from day practice to emergency care. Dr. Cardenas has a special interest in internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She loves veterinary medicine and is now bringing that love of medicine here to you. She is dedicated to making sure all of your pets’ concerns are addressed in a gentle, respectful manner. When possible, Dr. Cardenas employs low stress handling and gives treats liberally, so bring your pets hungry!
Dr. Cardenas, her husband, and their three children share their home with three rescue cats and two dogs. When not caring for your pets, Dr. Cardenas enjoys reading, evenings with friends, kayaking, and spending time with her family on nature trails.



Marisa is married and has two sons. She also has two fur babies, Dexter and Brooke. Dexter is a 10 year old Golden Retriever and Brooke is an 11 year old Basset Hound.
Marisa has a special love for hounds and any dog with floppy ears. Marisa has a degree in Interior Design and enjoys refurbishing furniture and remodeling projects in her spare time.


Hannah is married and has 4 little fur babies: Anna-belle the a rat terrier rescue, Lexi-pie the Jack Russell, Calypso the Dalmatian and Johnny Ringo the orange tabby. Shehas an associate of applied science degree and is working towards her license for a veterinary technician. Hannah has 5 years of vet tech experience and she is a great addition to our expanding team. With a sparkling and optimistic attitude, she helps to create an enjoyable workplace and a helpful atmosphere for the clinic.



Faith has been surrounded by animals her whole life and plans to work towards getting her veterinary technician license. Faith recently got married and has five dogs, three German Shepherds, one Great Pyrenees, and a Boxer mix. She also has three cats and a ball python. She is dedicated and hard-working to ensure that your pet has the best care at our clinic.


Dee has been with us since we opened in December of 2015. She is one of the most hardworking and dedicated employees we have. She's great with people, and pets LOVE her. Dee moved here from California where she was a dog groomer for 5
years. She has 3 wonderful sons. Michael 25, Dominick 22 and her youngest is Nolan 15. She has 5 dogs, 3 cats and a ball python. Dee is currently working towards renewing her CVA.
