Dr. Cardenas, DVM
Since receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2001, Dr. Cardenas has worked in small animal medicine, from day practice to emergency care. Dr. Cardenas has a special interest in internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She loves veterinary medicine and is now bringing that love of medicine here to you. She is dedicated to making sure all of your pets’ concerns are addressed in a gentle, respectful manner. When possible, Dr. Cardenas employs low-stress handling and gives treats liberally, so bring your pets hungry!
Dr. Cardenas, her husband, and their three children share their home with three rescue cats and two dogs. When not caring for your pets, Dr. Cardenas enjoys reading, evenings with friends, kayaking, and spending time with her family on nature trails.
